The Seward Park Audubon Center is partnering with Veteran Rites and The Mission Continues to introduce military veterans to a warrior-led ceremony to find deep healing in the wilderness. In our Circles of Return, you can reclaim the rite of radical kinship.

This evening invites veterans and their families to learn about resident owls and enter the night forest in search of these fierce night-time hunters. We exit descend from the forest to the shores of Lake Washington where a bonfire awaits. We gather in a circle to learn more about this important on-going Veteran conservation service that reenlists our veterans to support our lands, our feathery friends, and most of all, each other. Join us for fellowship and enjoy hot cocoa and s'mores by the fire.

The National Audubon Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our federal tax ID number is 13-1624102.
